Class Info

Make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing that is not too tight, restricting easy movement and blood circulation.

Come prepared for the yoga by not eating at least 2 hours before a class.  Mats are provided in the hall but please bring your own or a towel for the sake of hygiene.

Most of the classes are taught in English except for seniors yoga and pregnancy yoga. Both these classes and including the Ashtanga do not follow the basic sequence outlined on the left.

Beginners class
It is best to start at the beginning. If you are new to yoga, we suggest that you start with our complete beginners course, where step by step instruction is given.

Intermediate class
Unless otherwise stated all classes are intermediate.
It is for those who have done the beginners course and for those who are already familiar with yoga and want to further develop and perfect their techniques.

Advanced class
For those that have been practicing yoga on a regular basis and are already able to do the headstand. The postures are more advanced and held longer.

Pregnancy class
Yoga can help you have a better pregnancy and delivery. Each class starts and finishes with a relaxing meditation.

Restorative/helend Yoga

Restorative yoga is not for specific health problems. Restorative
yoga works more on the parasympathetic nervous system, like all yoga forms. It helps to relax the muscle action with the help of props so you can get into deeper relaxation. It helps reduce the fight and
flight mode (stress). Lower heart rate, blood pressure etc.
